Sounding like Kofi Kinaata came naturally – Kwabena Flipz to critics

Fastest growing Ghanaian music brand Kelvin Essuman known music-wise as Kwabena Flipz has finally reacted to comments about him sounding and copying the multiple award-winning Ghanaian music icon Kofi Kinaata.

In an exclusive interview on ATL Fm in Cape Coast with Barrister Daniels on his weekend entertainment show, the sensational musician stated that; he hasn’t intentionally learned or copied from Kofi Kinaata on how he sings and rap in his music. “Me sounding like Kofi Kinaata came to me naturally as i was growing up and so far, I have taken many inspirations from him”. He added.

My mission in music is to encourage the youths to do more for themselves and am sure Kofi Kinaata is also on a different mission with his music and brand. He added that; he wishes to meet Kofi Kinaata soon and even get a music feature from him on one of his unreleased singles. “Though i was a rapper, i was advised to start singing because of the commercial value” Kwabena Flipz added.

Meanwhile, Kwabena Flipz advised Ghanaians and especially his fans to be extra protective concerning the current worldwide pandemic (Covid-19) ongoing and continue to support his brand and music.
