Ghanaian tour operating company Tour Light Tours as part of their social responsibility as an organization operating in Ghana, on July 17th donated items to the Cape Coast Metro Hospital to help them in the fight against the current worldwide pandemic. Items like; Facemasks/ Face Shield, Bottle Water, Hand Gloves, Veronica Buckets, Flat Screen Television, Cleaning Detergents, Hand Sanitizers, Rice, Cooking Oil and more estimated to cost around six thousand cedis including an undisclosed amount of money to the facility.
In a social media post from the tour company concerning the donation, they highlighted they needed to embark on such agenda to help take proper care of patients who have been affected by COVID 19 and currently receiving treatment at the hospital and also help in general administrative work of the facility. Adding the Cape Coast Metro Hospital has been helpful to many people in the Central Region and beyond borders for decades and its time to give back and support the facility.
Meanwhile, the tour company encouraged the government to give the place a good look because looking at the present situation at the hospital, it doesn’t speak well of the region in terms of health care. Touch Light Tours later urged Ghanaians to stay safe and observe all precautional measures given by the government.
